Hi guys,
I started my chemo radiotherapy last month and have just finished week 4. Only 8 sessions left to go and all was well until yesterday.
I noticed a small blister on the sole of my foot on Monday but thought nothing of it, by Friday it was big and painful so I called to see chemo nurse after my radiotherapy session. She said it was as a result of my capecitabine and told me not to take any that evening, or Monday morning, and go back to see her after my radiotherapy session on Monday.
I’m really upset. I love walking with my dog, it’s what is getting me through this, but it’s too sore to walk on. I’m also concerned about the break in meds this close to the end.
Has anyone else had this? I didn’t even know capecitabine caused blisters, thought it was only redness and peeling? x
