Hi everyone, I just wondered if anyone has had any experiences of very high CEA levels post surgery? I had a left hemi colectomy in June with a 4cm T2N0M0 tumour removed. No chemo required as no lymphatic or vascular involvement, however, on my first 3 month surveillance bloods I have a CEA of 88 which is extremely high. Possibility of an erroneous test result but I’m preparing myself for the worst. Colonoscopy booked for tomorrow to investigate - all my scans have been clear so far.
