Hello, following a colonoscopy last sunday I was immediatelyinformed the Dr suspected cancer. He had taken biopsies, they took bloods there and then. I have since had a ct scan and an mri. Ct scan results back. My nhs app says I have Squamous cell carcinoma of rectum and my research shows this is pretty unheard of.
I'm awaiting a meeting with my consultant on Tuesday, who I'm hopeful will confirm the type, but wondered if anyone else has any experience if this whilst I wait.
