Been through a lot past 6 years when diagnosed with Colon cancer in 2020 and had the emergency operation to have sigmoid removed. Had mop up chemotherapy but the cancer came back in 2022. Went through chemotherapy again on Cetuximab and Filifori and had aporox 38 cycles to date and stopped in February 2026. Was then diagnosed with cancer in peritoneum in 2024 !
Then found had liver met in Segment 7, and had MR Linac at Cromwell which worked.
Recently had a major operation for HIPEC as had cancer in the peritoneum treated in Basingstoke with Dr Cesil which went really well and scan in April 2026 showed i had gone into remission after 6 long years of fighting !
To my shock had a CT scan September 2nd 2026 and was diagnosed with 2 liver mets in segment 8 and segment 3, about 1cm, which was a huge blow ! been told that need to do a PET and MRI of the liver so they can decide on next steps, although the Oncologist has tried to assure me I had options still to control the spread with Ablation, resection or Linac.
NEED some advice for anyone who's got a similar story and how the liver mets can be treated with some sucesss stories please as feeling very low !
