My husband had surgery to remove part of his colon. They weren't able to do the join (anastomosis), so he has a stoma instead. We are nearly 2 weeks post-op, and it's been an absolute rollercoaster with blood loss, low blood pressure, and tonight he’s had to go back into hospital with an infection around his surgical drain. I'm just feeling completely overwhelmed and looking for anyone who has been through a similar rough start.
