PET scan 6 months after surgery

Hi yes just waiting for results of hubby's mri something appeared on his surveillance ct scan. Its so worrying feels like back to square one again. I hope you get good results soon.

your stomach flips for them doesn’t it then your filled with your own fears at the same time trying to remain positive for them x

I had secondary cancer in my liver, they treated it by ablation,  a fantastic procedure,  I was in and out of hospital within 24 hrs. Fingers crossed for you.

Unfortunately bad news for us now referred to liver team. More worried waiting. 

Thinking of you .. get our results Wednesday 

hopefully the ablation treatment can be done, it’s hard isn’t it the waiting x my husbands positivity has dipped so difficult

Anyway on we go! Nurse rang today being discussed at liver MDT next Friday so hopefully we'll know something after that.

This will be face to face with surgeon who referred who did the APR surgery. I asked his secretary will he then be referred to liver consultant, of course she couldn’t comment but dependant on findings she thought so. 
the MDT for results is this coming Monday then clinic appointment Wednesday. 
we are heading off for a night away today to try and take our minds off it but nothing does sadly. 

like yourself being the wife it’s hard trying to keep positive and reassuring when inside I’m scared. 
however can’t imagine how my husband is feeling .. we had a talk the other day trying to remain a little bit optimistic but tears came then hard & fast. 
Did us both good to have a cry. 
will keep u updated and reach out from one wife to another if you need anything
