Hello
After almost 8 years of fighting bowel cancer it has now metastasized to my lungs including the right pleura which I have been told after chemo there isn't any more they can do. I have been researching and have found people with the same diagnosis but have survived for years after. I am wondering if anyone has any personal experience of this as I would love to chat and take any advice you have.
Thanks
Wendy
Hi Wendig
My mum had a spread to her lungs but it took years and years to reveal itself then to be honest was very slow growing .
I think it depends on location and volume of tumours .
Have you considered a second opinion ?
Always good to know how other clinicians would handle if . My mum ran out of puff at 82 not treatment options . She still had various chemo options she could have had had she not been reduced by frailty .
Take care ,
