Hi
Been a few months since I was on here. I was in Scotland but relocating to England after 6 cycles and scans done.
I have done 6 cycles of Carboplatin and Paclitaxel after which I expected radiotherapy to start, but after scan results on 5th Feb showed primary tumour all but gone, unfortunately liver met tumour has carried on growing, was told no need for radiotherapy, no more chemo would be done but the team I was transferring to in England would start me on Immunotherapy.
I met with my new Consultant in England on 9th March who advised I would have more chemo. Up to 8 cycles of Cisplatin and Capecitabeen combination, just started cycles 2 today so will have a scan in June you see how it's doing.
Just wondering if anyone has any experience of this treatment, side effects up to now are a bit harsh!!
