Hi, recently finished my Capox treatment plan so can reflect back to the first IV. The nurses on the unit slowed the IV down because of some discomfort in my hand and arm, crept further up my arm as time went on……..the discomfort in my arm took quite a few days to fully settle down. Became very cold adverse very quickly so had to ensure gloves/hat/scarf worn. Also can recall experiencing mild jaw discomfort (first bite syndrome) even before I left the unit. Post IV took 3 days of steroids at home which disrupted sleep but once I had stopped taking them the fatigue kicked in. I hope this helps.
