CAPOX - did you lose your hair?

Hi first of all,all the best with your treatment.

I had Capox and did loose my hair despite being told it would only thin a little.when I saw the oncologist she said " well that shouldnt have happened"

I am not being negative ,its just that if I had been warned that there was a slight posibility I wouldnt have been so shocked and upset.

So it is very unusual but can happen

I had CAPOX this time last year and was told my hair would thin during treatment but I wouldn’t lose it. For me this turned out to be exactly what happened. After the treatment finished it grew back to be thicker than it was before so that was an unexpected bonus.

I finished my 4 cycles of CAPOX 2 weeks ago; didn’t suffer any hair loss or notice any thinning. All the best with your treatment. 

Thankyou for the replies. Looks like a mixed response - I'll go into it with an open mind. 

I had 5 cycles and never lost my hair. My side effects were that I couldn’t touch any thing cold, eat or drink anything cold. The said nothing below room temperate, oh no my water had to be warm. The other was first bite syndrome, annoying and painful for 10-12 seconds on the first bite then it all went back to normal x

I had 4 cycles of Capox in Feb to May last year, no hair loss at all.

I had 4 cycles of Capox a couple of years ago and had slight hair thinning which has now grown back to normal thickness.
