Hi there I have just completed my second round of FOLFIRINOX yesterday. It went better than my first round. I am not so dehydrated and fluffy in the head. They did slow down my Oxaliplatin over 3 hours rather than 2 which meant I didn't get the muscle spasms. I have done a few jobs today and went for a walk not feeling too woozy this time either. I have my pump on until tomorrow. I have anti-sickness drugs to take which seem to be working well. Some are steroids which meant I only slept for 4 hours last night but finish those in 2 days so hopefully get more sleep over the weekend. I have 4 more cycles to go so if anyone else is going through this treatment I am happy to share side effects with you. Good luck to anyone about to embark on this journey and to all of you who have come out the other side.
You are doing so well .
My mum took a few cycles more to get into the rhythm that you seem to have found .
Dehydration definitely amplified side effects . Wonderful that you are able to stay active and that you are listening to your body .
Take care ,
Court
