Hi my husband has stage 4 colorectal cancer with metases to liver and lungs. He wants to go to the Arcadia clinic in Germany for treatment. Has anyone been there? Can you share your experience. Did it work?
I have replied to your post in new to the community. I have searched for any posts which mentions this clinic anywhere in the online community, and found nothing so it may be that you won’t find anyone here who has experience of this.
Hi JCRoseybc9348 , I also have stage 4 CRC with lungs and liver mets. I am currently on Lonsurf/Avastin treatment but, although scans show no new metastases over the past year, the lung nodules have grown slightly. Therefore I am going to Germany next week to receive an autologous cell vaccine. I am going to Unifontis, which is run by Prof. Drevs, one of the principal investigator on the Avastin clinical trial. I really don't know about Arcadia but I can keep you updated with my experience at Unifontis.
Is this under private healthcare? Did you reach out to this person or did your oncologist refer you? I'm considering looking for 2nd opinion for my partner who was recently diagnosed stage 4 and want to see what other options there are as well as chemo and targeted , surgery or radiotherapy hopefully

No it's not we had a zoom meeting today. It's all private and I think it's going to be very costly. They have accepted my husband for the treatment it is a mix of chemo, alternative medicine. We are waiting for the list. It sounds good but to be honest I am not sure about it. I am scared it won't work.
Hi JCRoseybc9348 It might be worth starting a post to see if others have experience of folfox for treating liver and lung mets which you could maybe then show him?
