Hi all,
I understand it’s obviously different for everyone but what sort of timeframe is it for to be able to go outside to the park or whatever after surgery
Im having robotic surgery on the 4th August and family have booked hotels for 3 weeks later to visit but wasn’t sure if this was realistic timeframe
I’ve not had surgery for over 40 years and was told I’d be in hospital around 4/5 days but wasn’t sure how long I’d be until I was able to go for a walk etc …
thanks in advance
I had laporistic surgery, 5 days in hospital, stitches out after 10. Was doing minimum 30 mins walk from day after release. Slow but sure. I’ve seen suggestions to start with ten minutes and do a bit more each day. 3 weeks, you should be well able to walk in parks etc, be eating more or less what you want. I’m sure they’ll understand if you take a Power Nap in the afternoon if you need to…enjoy!
