Hi,
Usual (long to experience but short to tell) story, colonoscopy, surgery, right hemicolectomy, cancer cells in some nodes so Capox chemotherapy. This caused various interesting side effects, one of which, "Hand & Foot" syndrome, was not a lot of fun. I tried MooGoo Udder Cream - only the Australians would dream up that name! It helped soothe the cracks in my feet a bit but not completely. My daughter suggested I try Hyaluronic acid which she gets in powered form. The tiny packet arrived and I tried mixing it with the MooGoo and a little water. It really helps.
Got to be worth a try.....
I had the feet on rounds one and two, interestingly from day 12 of the Cap tabs both times. The dose of CAP was reduced from 4000 a day to 3000 a day for round 3 and I didn’t get any foot effects. I found soaking my feet in cold water for 20 minutes 2 or 3 times a day helped, followed by lathering up with CadaVe cream helpful, and also never wear any type of shoe and sock, just bare feet with sliders ( loads available on Amazon)
