Hi everyone - hope you are all doing ok and enjoying the lovely sunshine! I am on round 3 of CAPOX and I seem to be getting these raised up bumpy red spots on my face - mainly along the jaw line and up a bit. I did ask the oncologist last time and he just shrugged but it has flared up again this time ( 7 days after the IV) so im wondering if it’s a side effect of the tablets? Anyone had this and has any solution or do I have to just ride it out. I just feel rubbish as it without having a face full of spots . Thank you xx
I had them along my hairline after chemo 3. I’m on FOLFOX so I guess it’s a side effect of the Oxaliplaten. i used sudocrem (my go to for everything) for a couple of days and they haven’t come back and I’m now on cycle 7.
I think it was maybe where I was sweating under a baseball hat. I sympathise as the last thing you need during chemo is huge red pustules on your face.

Hi Lee_L - I’ll try some sudocreme that’s a good idea! I can see that they look they are going to a bit pustule like which is horrible so hopefully this will calm it! I know it’s only a minor irritation but like you say it’s the last thing we need! I think the heat might be bringing it on too - Weill done for getting to cycle 7! That feels a long way off for me at the moment xx
