Hi everyone

Has anyone had a delay to their treatment due to blood levels ?
If yes what levels were affected and by how much?
OH had his treatment delayed on cycle 3 because of low platelets. (Delay 1week)

Now again for cycle 4 he is delayed due to low platelets again (much lower this time) and Neutrophils showing a dip.

Please share as hes worried it’s not normal.

I have delay my chemo for 2 weeks before my last 4th cycle due to low platelets, It is quite common things I think.

My blood platelets were 78, 88 and after 168 and I stated my 4 cycle. Ideally they should be around 100 to carry on with chemo, I was told by nurse
