Hi all,
Fir time messaging here. My friend - female, 34 yrs old - was recently diagnosed with transverse colon adenocarcinoma (primary in situ, annular, transversable), with liver and lung mets. KRAS mutant (Gly12Ser); pMMR/MSS, NRAS/BRAF wild-type.
She's on chemo but it hasn't slowed the progression and she'll soon be put on another type of chemo.
I was just curious whether anyone has been diagnosed with similar or had suggestions of clinical trials/potential treatments for this type of cancer?
Sending strength and love to you all.
John
Hello John87
Welcome to the Online Community. I am really sorry to hear of your friend's diagnosis.
I am sorry that the chemo she is currently on is not working as it was hoped. I had chemo myself and it isn't an easy thing to go through. I hope the change in regime does have a better effect.
I am afraid that I can not help with the specific medical information that you have put but you could give the Support Line a call and talk to one of the nurses.
This link gives some of the treatment options and may be useful.

There is some info on clinical trials here that you may find helpful.

I hope this helps a bit.
