Hello, i wonder if anyone can help me my partner start on cetuximab in October 2022 for bowel and liver cancer at clatterbridge and has been told that surgery maybe possible but he would need to be off chemo for over 6 weeks to have a CT PET scan and if the cancer starts to grow again he would lose his funding and it would be difficult to get funding again. I was on the bowel cancer uk website and it looks like this ruling was scrapped, feeling very confused? He sees the surgeon next week so the surgery Vs chemo concerns maybe clearer.
Hi Ju Anne Hopefully the surgeon will be able to clarify but this is the data from the NHS site
