Hi all, recovering really well post op. Radiological staging looked good re lymph nodes, but hospital phoned to say cancer in 3 out of 14 so chemo next. Tumour gone though with clear margins.
Feeling a bit daunted but at least I know now what's ahead!!!
Xx
Hi Arial88 That must be a bit disappointing for you but remember you are now cancer free, the tumour has been removed with clear margins (which is good) and the chemo is the final stage belt and braces
Deep breath and you can do this
Take care

That’s amazing that you got your results so quickly. Fantastic that everything was removed with good margins. It’s the best news.
You know so many people here had chemo and they can guide you though what to expect but you’re cancer free and that’s just the best news.
Remember be kind to yourself because you’re still recovering physically and mentally.
As Kren said you can do this. ️ xxxx
Thanks Scoutabout you are right. I am amazed at how wonderful the hospital has been. I was reading Calderdale and Huddersfield Trust colorectal dept has really got its act together in terms of waiting times. Eternally grateful. Feeling v grateful also that the operation was so successful and actually v lucky this was picked up and the doctor took action on my blood results.
Onwards! Hope you are doing good, have a lovely weekend xxx
