Not sure if this is any help. My friend's partner was diagnosed with advanced lung cancer around 5/6 years ago. He was offered an opportunity to join an immunotherapy research trial. Initially, he thought it wouldn't save him but he was willing to do it for future patients and to further research. It has been a wonderful success. Take care.
