Just diagnosed. Out of 25 lymph nodes only one has cancer. Any info gratefully received. T3 and waiting to see consultant for chemp
Don’t panic. Is my first bit of advice. I was t3n2 and am having chemo post op to remove blocked bowel. There is treatment. It’s tough but it’s there. Your medical team will look after you and guide you to what will happen. This waiting game is hard but once you’ve started you’re closer to the end!
second bit of advice don’t google. Only read stuff on macmillan.
Hi Teddy007 Best to avoid google if I’m honest. What is it that you’re really frightened about and hopefully we can reassure you? The reputation of chemo is often worse than the actual experience and once you know which one you’ll be having then I can send you some helpful links.
If you click on my name then you’ll see that I was in the same situation in 2016/17 with 2/17 nodes affected and I’m still ‘no evidence of disease’. The next few months may be tough but it’s doable and worth it for the final belt and braces bit of your treatment.
Take care
