Iho everyone first time on here..
i had a hemicolectomy my right colon removed 6 weeks ago and they found a cancer and removed it with the colon. But they also found 28 out of 36 lymph nodes with cancer cellswith evidence of EMVI and breach of serosa
T4a.N2b.V1.R0 resection
im book in tombs treatment centre on 23/08/24 with adjuvant chemotherapy starting shortly after.
Does this seem a long time to wait for chemo to start or is this normal?.
Hi Jimmy1234 and a warm welcome to the board. I was always of the impression that they like to start post op chemo within 6-10 weeks of surgery although mine was longer due to post op complications. You could post this question on the Ask a Nurse page and see if they can clarify?
