if it's prescious metal it should be fine- I had piercings I could not remove in my ears that were gold and they just held a magnet to them and said that's fine- good luck with the MRI
I left mine on OK as it was non-ferrous. I had to remove my blood glucose sensor though, which cannot be re-used. It seems that some scanners - not all - will not tolerate them. Call the radiologist the day before to confirm.
