I went for chemo on Tuesday but couldn't have it my ALT levels had shot up so my oncologist has booked an urgent scan I feel really good in myself he's hoping it's just toxins to chemo so am I don't want any progression or spread,
I had a ct 8 weeks ago and all was stable.
It's such a worry the ups and downs of the cancer train
Hi HazG
How many cycles have you had ? I am holding out for some shrinkage . Eight weeks is relatively recent I would think .
Sometimes it took eight weeks to get scan results !
But it’s just not a nice process to go through . Time to let your liver rest a cycle and sort itself out .

Gosh you have done well .
You have such a strong liver ! That’s incredible.
It’s certainly reassuring that you have a recent scan.
But I know only too well it’s a horrible process . You have a proactive team always making sure .
Hopefully more of a ruling out process as we well know is part of the oncology process .
My mum has one liver enzyme that decided to stay up since her chemo all those years ago ! Part of her new normal .
take care ,
