I’m due to start chemo next week. Advice please as to what to take with me in regards to eating during the long session. I’m very anxious but just want to get started now.
The hospital I attend provides snacks and sandwiches with drinks and biscuits during the 5 hours I’m there. What I find most useful is taking my iPad and watching box sets/movies or catching up on programmes I’ve missed. Hope this helps
My hospital also provides snacks, sandwiches and drinks. I always took a warm drink with me for on the way home, a scarf and gloves, and my iPad to play on during treatment. A charger might also be useful.
Hi Beverley39 Yes I was given a sandwich and soup at lunchtime and biscuits with a warm drink. Take a book or iPad as you will be there for a few hours. Not sure if you’ve seen this post before but there’s a few tips on it
