Hi my dad has terminal bowel cancer with metastic lung and liver his prognosis isn’t good and his quality of life is rubbish he started chemo last week and for the 3 days following on steroids he had life back it was amazing for him just wondering could he prescribed steroids long term? Or even a small dose over Xmas? So he can at least enjoy his last Xmas day.
Hi SarahG84
Sorry to hear about your dad .
Your dad should have a specialist nurse you could phone and ask them to make enquiries with the oncologist as I think it would require medical advise .
I noticed my mum got such a boost too from the steroids but a bit of a drop when off them .
I hope the chemo is successful for him
