Hi Guys
on my first CT scan they found indeterminate solitary nodule in my left lung but they told me they not concerned but I should have another CT in 3 month to keep eye
they told no cancer spread anywhere
month just to keep eye
I had a surgery first and today started chemo as I was told I am stage 2 High risk but still waiting CT report therefore stated CAPOX
MRI liver was clear.
i rang today to find out about my CT scan but was told that radiology sent report straight to MDT for Tuesday as all report goes there first
I started panicking again
is it normal procedure before they will tell me or they find something worrying now therefor MDT first.
any suggestions or someone have been the same situation
kind regards
Natallia
thank you
Hi Natata
I think most of my mum’s scans have been discussed at the MDT first but they are inclined to leave that detail out most of the time but I think it’s standard that they go .
Anxiety is easily triggered in these situations but definitely too soon to assume anything other than standard process .
Hope you have a peaceful weekend .

Hi Natata
I look at it that MDT is the best different cross discipline, well skilled people around a table at one time.
If a hospital has the resource capacity to offer it, I'd personally welcome all my scans going straight to them as they can identify, rule out things or simply risk assess the best.
