It's with a heavy heart that I tell you that my wonderful hubby Tony passed away this morning..the last few days had been dreadful as he suffered from agitation and was extremely distressed...the hospice at home team came in yesterday were a blessing and gave him an injection to settle him and he was so peaceful...his mum had offered to sit with him during the night and it was around 6.30am when she woke us to say Tony's breathing had changed and he passed peacefully at 7.00am..me and his mum and the kids were with him holding his hand and he was at home which is what he wanted...although we are feeling numb and it's feels surreal we are so relieved his suffering is over...love to you all...xx
ellen93 . You are in our thoughts.
Sending you an especially large virtual hug at this difficult time .
Dear Ellen93
I am sorry to read of your wonderful hubby Tony’s passing.
I don’t often post, but I do in particular follow people’s journeys similar to that of my husband’s. I am so sorry
Also sending big hugs ️ x x
So sorry to hear your news Ellen93 My condolences to you and your family. It will feel surreal that he is actually gone but as you said he is no longer suffering this is the way I tried to look at it when my lovely Jay passed almost 4 months ago. It still feels surreal and there are some days that I still can't believe he's gone. My sister has just come home from hospital from having bowel surgery and everything went really well for her and they got her tumour out and everything is healing well for her so it's bitter sweet for me that she is here and Jay is not. That is so uncanny that your Tony passed at 7a.m. Jay actually passed at 7p.m. on 23rd June. Weird it went 12 hours in different directions. I hope you and your family find peace and strength in the coming days. It is getting just `slightly` better for me I'm not 100% there yet but hopefully in time I'll reach that. God Bless you all.
