Hi Kirsty87
I would get back onto your team . The anti sickness drugs are entry level ones and they can try other ones to get on top of it . Definitely don’t suffer as there are others to help .
Take care and I hope you get some help .
My mum got an injection at one point .

Hi Kirsty,
Like you, I had terrible nausea on my first cycle, and needed stronger anti nausea meds. The side effects were so bad that I was unable to complete the cycle. My sister researched the web to find a solution, We came across Aprepitant, and asked for it to be prescribed at the next cycle. It helped me.
Best of luck,
Buzzard
Dear Kirsty 87
I hope you were given a chemo hotline number to ring. I’d encourage you to use it for anything of any concern about the treatment or its after effects. The people I spoke with were always empathic and supportive, and helped me find solutions. It’s important to find ways to keep going with the chemo, and I hope they will provide you with what’s needed to maximise its effectiveness.
It is terrible feeling like that. I'm on my first chemo cycle too. I was given two different anti sickness meds to take for the first two days and a third type for the next nine. I hope you have been able to get in touch about them getting you some that work. There are many different types and I'm sure they can try others for you.
