After a traumatic A&E visit one Sunday in Feb, resulting in arriving at 10 and being in theatre at 6, tumor removed, stoma in place, follow up adjuvant therapy chemo for 12 weeks I realised last month I had critical illness cover. Put in a claim and it was accepted. So check those policies.
Am looking at Holidays now. Scottish Highlands and Islands beckon.
