So I'm flitting between this forum and the kidney cancer forum as I have been diagnosed with a T1b N0 1cm polyp. But also have a 2.9cm lesion on my kidney. I had a meeting with my consultant yesterday and he said that they will try and remove this with an endoscopic mucosal Resection. If this fails then I will need a surgical Resection. Tbh I'm feeling pretty lucky that it's been found early and I'm praying the EMR is successful. I will mentality deal with the kidney issue when I know what I'm dealing with. I just wondered if anyone else has had an EMR and what it was like and what the recovery is like too? Thanks in advance. Kerry
Hi Gosh
Just going to pop this back up to the top ! There has been a few people recently diagnosed with kidney /bowel cancer . Both primaries at the same time .
You can also use our research function at the top left hand side ( small magnifying glass ) . Possibly it’s be so success for most they are not around anymore on the forum but their stories and experiences should still be there .
All the very best in both surgeries and returning to full health .
Take care ,
