Hi,
My husband has stage 4 bowel cancer and is currently in Cetuximab. It was in combination with chemo which they stopped after 6 months but when his markers shot up they got him back in Cetuximab. His skin has reacted really badly and not calmed down as it did previously. He’s on antibiotics and has steroid cream but wondered if anything else could help as it’s really upsetting him now.
Thanks
Hi Morganna17 I think court mum might be on this so hopefully she will be along shortly. You could also try posting on the bowel cancer uk board as I think there’s been a few similar posts on there?
Hi Morganna17
My mum is on her 12 th cycle , on constant antibiotics but after six to eight cycles hers is currently calm .
I have read of others having a similar issue and they got the oncologist to refer them to a dermatologist to assist with the skin care . Bringing in a specialist seemed to help.
How many cycles has he had since restarting ?
My mum struggled with the effects on her skin too .
Take care ,
Court

Thank you so much. His pharmacist is brilliant and has mentioned this previously, so might prompt them again.
I think this is round 15
