Good afternoon,
Well we are on to day 8 of Radiotherapy and capecitabine chemo tablets out of 28.
My husband is doing really well he is only having a few side effects tiredness and sore skin.
Everybody told me he will lose his appetite but up to now it is the complete opposite.
He had a session on Tuesday morning and then treated me to breakfast, piece of toast for me and a full English for him.
Has anybody else had the same reaction or is my husband a one off?
He had his first lot of bloods done this week too and the Dr is really happy with the results. I was dreading it as well lets just say what could go wrong in the last month or so has gone wrong. Hes diabetic and some of his medication is not available to him at the moment so wasn't sure what his bloods were going to show, but all good.
I know it is early days for him but fingers crossed 
he will remain the same through treatment.
It is such a rollercoster of emotions at the minute and to be honest I dread it when his phone rings.
Sorry it is a long one, just wanted to share feelings, news and generally just chat.
