Hiya,
My father has been diagnosed with stage 4 Bowel cancer, that's spread to his liver and lymph nodes. He is due to have chemo to try to stop the cancer from spreading further. My mother and myself are really struggling coming to terms with this, and also managing emotions, as my father isn't very talkative & is snapping at all the time. Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated!
Thanks, Jo

It’s such a lot to process in the early days . A lot of people internalise this part however a good treatment plan can really help and make the entire family feel something has been started to reign in the spread and hopefully some shrinkage .
Do you know what chemotherapy he is due to start ?
If you click on my user name you can read my mum’s treatment of a spread to the liver . She is currently back on treatment but doing well .
Take it one process at a time . Still make plans but adapt them to be appropriate and achievable.
One treatment can at times open up other options .
Take care ,
