So I’m due to start 4 rounds of chemo and have been accepted onto the TRACC study!

Has anyone else just taken capecitabine (not the full capox)? If so what was your hair loss like? My nurses said I’m unlikely to lose it all but it will thin out so now I’m not sure if should cut ithort or not

Hi,

I was on it with oxilaplatin 10 years ago my hair thinned slightly. I had shoulder length hair. I think you should be ok.

Well done Nicole83 . Hope it goes smoothly for you .

Two years of cap and oxy combination only left my mum with slight thinning . She did not know this before heading for a very short cut but it grew back in . She did not need to cover it at all .

I had Capox and lost all my hair.I was told it was probably the oxy part.so hopefully you should be ok
