Jay wasn't even considered for this. I made enquiries but was just told a straight `no`. Sorry if I sound bitter but at the end I just feel I wasn't being heard. All they said was they looked into it and it wasn't an option at the minute I can't even recall if they said why it wasn't an option just that the cancer had spread and then the palliative doctor told him it has only spread very slightly. I just get the feeling they just didn't want to even try anything else at the end up. But now he's gone and i'll probably never know now.
