Not sure I've made the right decision going on lonsurf tablets over the infusion I've been reading people having lots of problems side effects on them.
Didn't sleep a wink worrying about it all.
This Cancer bus is a nightmare I want to get off
Hi HazG
This is not something for you to handle on your own . You have every right to go back to your team and chat this through . Everyone needs time to reflect and consider the implications of a decision and want to chat through the clinical aspects with a consultant once again .
I would give them a phone and not take the weight of this on yourself.
Take care ,

I agree with the others. I keep forgetting that we are supposed to be able to say no to any treatment at any time! I wouldn’t have started with capox when I did as I felt well, and now hindsight is a wonderful thing. I’m going to try and stick with my current plan as I’ve done 2/4, then it’s scan time. If it hasn’t worked by stopping another spread, then I’ll probably take a break. My prognosis was a little worse than I thought, so quality of life is really important. Do contact your team and get some advice.:
Hi HazG
Sorry to hear you are in the doldrums.
Maybe im missing the point but why have you been recommended to adopt that particular Chemo regime? It's possible to guess but you deserve concrete facts.Your MDT notes should be available via an assigned Department contact point.By default the Nurse otherwise go to the Admin Head.
Once that question is answered it might proove easier to cope with the Action Plan devised for you. I hope so.
Very best regards
Anthony
