Hi
My mom got colon cancer before 15 or 16 days? So what kind of surgery is good for her her age is 75?
Hi Murshef4eva
I have found that the treatment is individually planned to best attack the cancer for the best results. Some have radiation chemo before then an operation. Some have just an op , some have chemo afterwards
If you can write up her diagnosis here others will be along that can advice you what they had.
Best wishes
Ann
Hi Murshe4eva
I am 70 - was diagnosed in May - had op on 31st May. Was very positive that cancer had been removed but the path results this week have shown that "some lymph nodes have been attacked" so I have an appointment with oncologist on Monday to discuss options - possibly chemo - another shock as I thought the op was going to be the end of it. Best wishes to your Mum.
