I haven't been on in a while I've been on a chemo break so been living g my life for 8 weeks it's been lovely
I have my three month scan on Monday I'm feeling very anxious as not been on chemo for a while I'm just hoping the pesky little cells have behaved !
I'm just lying here looking out of my bedroom balcony windows the sun is shining and I'm thinking I wish life was normal not governed by picc, line flush, chemo, scans people looking at me as if I'm about to die any moment feeling sorry for me.
Keep fighting warriors xx
Scanxiety is something we all have.
I treat myself afterwards like I did with my children. I have something to look forward to. It helps and when my imaging is taking place I think of something completely different
I find giving Cancer any space in my head is really depressing. Keep those thoughts in the bin along with my tumour
Enjoy the lovely weather and have a treat this weekend
Ann
You are doing so well and it’s completely understandable. Hope you have enjoyed the time off and found it healing in itself .
It’s rotten to think about results . Hoping you can get a bit more time over the summer to enjoy yourself.
Thinking of you .
