Morning everyone how are you all it's been quiet on here hope that is a good thing you have all been in my thoughts Simon having pain in hip but won't see doctors my mind thinking is in in bones but quess we will think that sending my love to you all

  • Morning Jkee. How are you today? I think the support that you’re all giving each other on the other thread is amazing - it really helps to talk to people in the same situation thread doesn’t it? Sorry to hear that Simons having hip pain - could you perhaps ring his colorectal support nurse or doctor and see if they could give him a courtesy call to just check how he’s doing?

Im currently enjoying my usual ‘first cup of tea of the day in bed with my iPad’ and listening to the birds outside who seem very chirpy at the minute.
Hope you’re able to get outside and do the same although if the last few days are anything to go by then it might be worth taking an umbrella!

Sending you a big virtual hug and try and take care of yourself too

  • Morning!

Jay slept most of the day yesterday but after his fall on Tuesday night think he was a bit shattered and for the fact he gave himself a bit of a fright. He has been doing his exercises the physio left yesterday after he came by so that's something. Just waiting on the homecare coming in to give him his daily `top n tail` looking forward to him hopefully getting back in the showere eventually.

    xx

  • Morning Karen I agree with the cup of tea and birds even when Simon was in hospital many times that tea at 5am 6am was bliss and still is.I love the sound of the birds who would have thought a year ago I would get pleasure from nature. Simon is stubborn he just says i'm fine when he is out of sight might just ring Hugs to you xx
