So the Community Care Team came out this morning to assess Tony and have prescribed stronger anti sickness meds via his oncologist and he has felt better today..they took his bloods and the oncologist is happy as after one cycle his CEA levels have dropped so that's good news I think..he has recommended Tony have a break and we start his next cycle on 17th May to allow for a full recovery as he needs to get his appetite back...we are a bit nervous about delaying the next cycle but the oncology team said this isn't unusual and Tony will benefit from it..
Fantastic to see an initial drop in his CEA ! I think oncology gets a boost when they see that .
Mum had to push one of hers back a week as she caught covid . They seemed neither up nor down about pushing it back a week .
take care ,
