Hi all
I'm searching for a 'meet the expert' video about, or largely about, LARS (Low Anterior Resection Syndrome). An IT crash has lost me my browser bookmarks, which contained some very useful stuff on understanding and living with LARS, in particular two excellent videos. One was Professor Jervoise Ambrose from an NHS hospital in Lincolnshire, and I've tracked it down again. The other is not so easy to find, and I don't recall the name of the interviewee, only that she was a woman gastroenterologist from a specialist research hospital called Saint something-or-other in West London, being interviewed not too long ago as part of a series focussing on the work of different specialists at that hospital.
I don't suppose I'm the only person using this forum who has assembled material about LARS for re-reading or re-viewing when life gets hard, so does this ring any bells for anyone?
Crossing my fingers,
Viszla
Hi Vizsla. I’ve had a quick google and there is someone called Ana Wilson at St Marks hospital who is a gastroenterologist and there is a link to a talk about LARS - not sure if I can post links but hopefully you can find it from this. You might also find this interesting although it’s more about bowel control than actual LARS.
Are you also aware that there is a popular social media site that you can join about LARS?
Hope this helps and I’m off to watch the interview myself now
Take care
