Hi,

im about to start FOLFIRI as my second line treatment, does anyone have any advice on the main side affects they’ve experienced? And also any hair care tips? I’m going to have the cold cap but what are most peoples experience of hair loss with this treatment?

Hi Carla,

I'm just having my 10th cycle of FOLFIRI, only two to go! The main side effect has been fatigue and a little bit of sore mouth. I've lost quite a bit of hair, really thinned out but still looking OK (people don't generally notice it that much), I've just cut it quite short.

Hi I had 6 rounds folfori I tolerated it quiet well.

Sore mouth, tiredness, dry eyes, my biggest ine was nausea so they gave me some strong meds which helped. My hair thinned a little not much. All side effects can easily be sorted speak to your team.
