And still waiting for results of my last CT Scan, 17 days ago. It doesn't get any easier after four years.
Marianne
No it doesn’t does it Marianne. Could you ring your colorectal support nurse? I noticed that when they used to write out with the results there could sometimes be a week between dictation and the typing up of the letter? x
<Hugs> Marianne,
I’ve only done a few ‘waits’ so far, they’re tough. You can keep yourself occupied for so long before the ‘wait’ fatigue hits. As Karen said, perhaps you can call them, maybe they can at least tell you if a letter has been sent out.
I hope it’s not much longer for you.

Hi Marianne, hope your results hurry up and come through, the waiting is horrible. I don’t know how your or anyone On here hospital work but mine send out the telephone appointment first, which mine was 26/1, I had my scan on the 30/12 so it was nearly 4 weeks before I got the results. Thank God it was clear. The last 3 times she has phoned earlier then the appointment time. It is such a difficult time surely they know how hard the waiting is. I think I can wait this long after my next one. If you go to A&E you get results while your there. I understand that the NHS are under a lot of strain. But it is an anxious time. Sending hugs and hope you hear soon. Xx
