End of my treatment pathway and just had my date for ct scan after 5 weeks radiotherapy and chemotherapy six week date has arrived Can anyone please tell me how long do you wait for the results? Should have asked at my last clinic appointment but like the 100 questions I had forgot this one ! So just wondering how long other people waited thanks

Hi Fraser1, they usually say results take 2 weeks however if you are seeing a specialist (not your GP) they may see results faster. I would contact whoever requested your scan if you haven’t heard after 2.5 weeks. I hope your results are positive.

I also had my first post chemo CT scan on 23 January. I will get the results when I meet with my oncologist on 2 February. I hate the wait, feels like you are in limbo, Good luck with your results

Since my diagnosis in April 2019.....I have CT Scans every six months. My last one was Jan 13, & am awaiting results. They normally take 2 weeks to come through. The waiting is always very difficult, but TBH, I now find that the longer you wait for results is usually indicative of a good sign. I think if there's anything untoward, you would be notified sooner.
