My mom has had her 1 year check up for bowel cancer. The nurse said that her bloods are better but they did point out she had a nodule on her lung which they said appears to be Benin should I worry? The nurse seems to think its nothing to worry about
It is very common to have benign nodules on the lungs . They only become concerned if they continue to grow . There is also lots of options for removing them to investigate if ever needed so I definitely would think it’s premature to start worrying just now .
All the very best to you and your mum .

Hi there.
Nodules are extremely common and they will keep a check on it if needed. They call back for Chest CTS if needed then consults
That’s the amazing thing when they monitor their patients they can check if there’s any changes. Many people here that have had bowel cancer have nodules on the lungs that show up
I don’t think PattyK s husband Jay has any issues with his lungs
Please don’t worry
Ann
