And here we are in 2023.

Let’s see what we can achieve despite all that’s going on .

My son is reading a book about making one small change at a time so we left granny sleeping   and headed out for a nice mother and son walk . He does not do that too often !Grinning

Steak pie for us later once the fresh orange juice and French toast goes down .

Take special care ,

  • Did you & Jay get to see any of their live shows? The banter had me crying!

the last live shows the bus that took you back to city centre actually had the destination of Craiglang! Fantastic added touch the public loved!

  • Hehe Sarah , I bet the dvds caused a stir!

as for Isa t-shirt there is a bit of Isa in all of us JoyJoy

  • Lots of puzzled faces, but I had a room to myself so could watch to my heart’s content. Grinning

  • I’m an Only Fools fan.

It always makes me grin when I think of the wine bar.  I miss those comedy shows everything on TV is a game show of some kind

  • Oh my now there is a fantastic classic show ,

going through the hatch in bar !  Batman & Robin scenes , Damien birth .. I could go on!

each character in show was brilliant!

funnily enough I said to hubbie on xmas day

Remember the Christmases where you rushed to clear everything to sit down to Only Fools & Horses Christmas Special ?

  • Court! Isa (Jane McCarry) lives just down the road from me in Kingspark on Glasgow's south side- well she did don't know if she's still there or not. Saw her one night in one of the takeaway kebab shops there one time hardly recognise her as 'herself' she lives in the 'posh hooses' the semi detached ones. We're in a cottage flat. Last I read about her she was doing teaching but still keeps her hand in with acting occasionally still does pantomime and stuff like that

  • Yeah we all know an 'Isa' from somewhere.

  • No didn't see those. Think the show was at its peak then n tickets were like gold dust n you couldn't get one for love nor money n no doubt they were getting sold for some ridiculous prices on eBay etc. It's usually Jays 'go to' if there's nothing else on TV. Think it's one of those shows you could watch over n over again n never get tired of even though you know the script backwards.

  • Another classic one we watch sometimes is 'Allo Allo' That show is so stupid but you just can't help watching it. My son William had the boxset DVDs he used to go around saying the line 'psst it is I 'clerc'. Full of loads of 'duoble entendres' but I think if u 'got' the humour you were ok.
