My mum has just completed her 12th cycle or Folfiri and Cetuximab treatment, she also has five days of Filgrastim injections each cycle. She has been getting increasing side effects each cycle, particularly urinary symptoms and they are particularly bad this time with a lot of urinary discomfort. The oncology team are aware of this and mainly just tell her it's just a side effect although at her last appointment they did say she may need referring to a urologist. My question really is whether anyone experiences anything similar with urinary symptoms and whether you have any tips of anything that may ease her discomfort.
