Hi asked about radiotherapy and chemotherapy (tablets) a fre days ago well started today radiotherapy went well chemotherapy was to start tonight but just had a phone call from the oncologist to say not to start as my bloods came back and my kidney function isn’t right now worried what’s going on has anyone experienced this

Thank you got more bloods this morning and the oncologist said it was better for me to have the radiotherapy than the chemotherapy tablets ,which is fine only to be told that the chemotherapy can start tonight after bloods came back better and a phone call so confused ??

You have had a few stressful days there !

Hope it goes smoothly now for you . There is always a bump or two with treatment . Only in hindsight did we learn this .
