Hi all,

I though I'd share some results from OncoOne who have some positive responses in pre-clinical trials with their anti-oxMIF for metastatic coloreactal cancer. Basically MIF stops macrophages (cells from the immune system) from getting to the tumours and attacking them and promotes tumour growth. Studies have been done previously but healthy tissues were also being targeted by anti-MIF. This time they are targeting oxidised MIF, which is only found in tumour tissues. Still early days but phase 1 trial should start in 20023. Details on https://www.targetedonc.com/view/targeting-oxmif-signals-promise-as-new-immuno-oncology-option-for-mcrc.

  • Very interesting read . Will be good to see how it progresses in a phase 1 trial .
Seems not be dependent on cell type either if I am reading right although I would have to say I only understood a fraction of it but got the basic mechanisms !Grinning.

So good to see this progress and a trial in the near future too! Phew .

Did you notice the vaccine trial ? Only a small sample again but promising results but can I find it !!!
